Nothing prepares you for the loss of a loved one, and nothing prepares you when that loss is your brother, and best friend. I looked up to you in every way. I wanted to be like you. You won every race….I got mad. You won every basketball game in our driveway…I got mad, You always won, I always got mad. We fought & wrestled, I again would lose.
You played the sports, and I followed in your footsteps. We created every game imaginable in the house driving our mom absolutely nuts. I finally beat you in basketball one day and you didn’t get mad. You smiled. You loved Duke….I of course became a UNC fan. You are Cleveland. Tough, Blue Collar, and never asking for anything in return
You cared for everyone you came across. For you to be my best man, on our best day is something I’ll cherish forever. Every misstep & mistake I made you never got mad you continued to support and love when you didn’t have to nothing prepared me to say goodbye to you, and we’ll be together again the next time I see you.
I will make you proud. I love you Dennis.
