George Rapp, Kansas, US, Obituary: Beloved Husband, And Respected Member Has Died

The passing of George Rapp has brought profound sadness to the Kansas trapshooting community and all who knew him. A cherished husband and friend, George was a familiar and friendly presence at events, remembered for valuing not only the sport but the fellowship it created.

His widow, Sherry Rapp, has asked that the community be informed of his services:

• Burial will take place at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City on Saturday, December 13th at 9:30 a.m.
• The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Methodist Church on Main and Kansas Avenues.

In a gesture that reflects George’s giving nature, lunch will follow the service — “with George buying!”

George’s warmth, integrity, and humor enriched the lives of many. His absence will be felt deeply, but his memory will continue to inspire fellowship and kindness.
