Rebecca Lynn Calvert, West Frankfort Illinois Obituary

Rebecca Lynn Calvert, 62, of West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Independent Group in Cobden, Illinois.

Born on February 23, 1963, in Benton, Illinois, Rebecca was the daughter of Ernest and Doris (Baker) Calvert. She was known for her love of family, her friendships at Independent Group, and her enjoyment of simple pleasures such as McDonald’s, music, animals, and amusement parks.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ernest Dee Calvert.

Rebecca is survived by her sister, Paula (Mike) Riva; brothers, Jack (Patricia) Calvert and David (Heidi) Calvert; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great‑nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with her brother Jack Calvert officiating. Burial will follow at Tower Heights Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 9:00–11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
